obligation upon them) to retain as long as possible any investments in the Hongkong and 3hanghai Banking Corporation, the Shanghai Land Investment Company "imited and the Shanghai Mlectric Construction Company Limited that I may be possessed of at the

date of my death.

7.

I direct that any moneys liable to be invested by my Trustees may be invested in their names or under their control in any of the following forms of investment with liberty to vary and transpose the

same from time to time viz:-

(a) Any of the investments for the time being

allowed by law in the United Kingian or in the Colony of Hongkong for the investment of trust

funds.

(b) The stocks or funds of any British Colony of

Dependency or any Foreign Government yielding

at the date of investment at the then market

price interest not exceeding Six per cent per

annum.

(c) The debentures issued by any municipal

authority in the United Kingdom or in any British Colony or in the Federated Malay States

or in Shanghai yielding at the date of investment at the then market price interest

at the rate aforesaid.

(d) The debentures preference or ordinary shares

whether fully paid up or not of any Company incorporated in the United Kingdom or in any British Colony or in the Dederated Malay States or in 3hanghai which shall for a period of Five consecutive years immediately preceding the date of investment have paid in full the interest in its debentures or preference shares
